SOCIAL MEDIA VS REALITY

THE SKINY INFLUENCER MODELS |
@WOLFISHGLOW Sasha is a budding influencer (approx. 300,000 followers) approaching her 1000th post on Instagram. Her signature 'grams not only reflect her trendy style and self-love approach, but they also showcase her dancing background. This was also noticeable at SKINY’s campaign shoot, where she played the main part. Photographer Heimo Reumueller: "The pictures with @wolfishglow exude power and composure. Some poses even give off a slight dancer vibe." The influencer herself states: "Self-love and self-development (are important to me). Authenticity and honesty in the art I share. I want to inspire my community and give them a glimmer of me. A community where everyone should feel comfortable and where an honest exchange is possible." That’s how we see it too and clearly that's why @wolfishglow was the perfect choice for the current SKINY campaign. |
@ERIK Erik is a successful content creator living in Berlin. In 2014, he started posting content from his life on Instagram - without pursuing a specific goal or even suspecting something would come of it - it was merely for fun. When the influencer moved to Berlin for his studies, he started focusing more on social media: "I discovered topics like fashion, travel, and self-love in particular. It’s really important to me to be close and in constant contact with my community. I love to exchange ideas with my followers on a daily basis, so we both learn from one another and understand each other." A passion for fashion, community and self-love is what connected SKINY and @erik too - and that is why he was the ideal male model for this season’s SKINY campaign! |
BACK TO SUMMERThe swim and beachwear scores with a cool retro look while remaining fashion forward thanks to modern cuts and details. Minimalist styles are greeted with crinkle fabric or marble-like decorative rings. In terms of color light and dark blue, washed-out green and bright orange tones define the SKINY collection. By the way: all bikini tops and bottoms can inter-changeably be mixed & matched. |
BACK TO CORESKINY underlines the simplicity of certain moments by classic - almost purist – pieces, which can withstand time. The subtle blue and beige tones stand for minimalism, while the design itself sets more of a statement with its clean styles, rib textures and cut-open hems. Another focus is on modern mosaic prints or soft color-blocking. |
BACK TO 1986In February, SKINY is bringing back the 80’s spirit! More precisely, the spirit felt during the brand’s founding year in 1986: retro block stripes and floral prints, cuffed logo sleeves on shorts - even boxer shorts - in the typical bike shorts style of the era. The colors were also chosen to match the Eighties: petrol blue meets signal red - a happy old-school mix that revives the lightness of these times. |
BACK TO NATUREThe first signs of spring in January. There is no better place to recharge your batteries than where you are surrounded by nature. That's why different shades of green, mixed with a rich pink, reminiscent of tropical flowers, determines the first signs of spring in January. Floral-detailed lace and exotic entwined leaf prints decorate the textiles. Nature is also reflected in the materials like fast-growing bamboo and organic cotton. |
